International Messengers

International Messengers is an evangelical, interdenominational missions organization comprised of an international staff team. We are committed to making disciples of all nations through partnering with local churches to renew, train and mobilize believers for active involvement in reaching the world for Christ.

We believe spiritual revival of the church is a primary key to effectively reaching this world with the love of Christ. We are committed to serving the local church, helping her move towards renewal, and then again envision her central role in spreading the Gospel locally and globally. We see ourselves as partners with the local church to equip and send people into the world with the truth of Jesus.

Here is a short video introducing International Messengers:

Dan, Loring, Aiden, Hannah, Benjamin
Well, this is us in 2008! This photo is an absolute testament to the power of God. If you ever catch yourself wondering what God might have planned in your life, come back and look at this picture. You really have no idea what He has in store!
Daniel started out as the youngest of two boys and spent half his youth growing up as a cowboy in Oklahoma. By the time he decided to drop out of high school, his family had returned to the Northwest. With a lack of direction, wild spirit, and a tremendous amount of self-esteem, Dan was ready to conquer the world. During this time, he dedicated himself to making a lot of incredible personal choices that should of ruined him for life. Soon, he found himself at an Olive Garden looking for a server job when Loring appeared in his life. Daniel was in love the minute he saw her. However, the attractive hostess at the Olive Garden wanted nothing to do with Daniel.
Loring is the youngest of two girls and spent her entire life in the Portland, Oregon area. After graduating high school, Loring was anxious to be a French major at Linfield college while her parents moved off to live in Kalispell, Montana. However, with the introduction of the weird guy with the motorcycle, her life turned in another direction.
Both began their higher education at Mt. Hood Community College. They got married in August of 1999. Dan eventually graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts and Loring from Cosmetology Careers in 2000. With Aiden being born in January of 2000, the family made a visit to the parents in Montana.
Once thinking Montana was a God-forsaken wasteland, Loring now thought it might be nice to be close to her folks. By November of the same year, Daniel and Loring were living in Montana.

Our Mission

Uganda is a country rich in history and culture but has been devastated with political unrest and war,  Savaged with an ongoing AIDS epidemic, and torn to bits with many false gospel's and false Jesus'. Despite the billions of dollars spent and the thousands of aid workers, the problems continued to grow and persist.  While Uganda is now enjoying a time of peace.  The AIDs epidemic has miraculously dropped, yet boasts of being on the rise again.  The greatest threat to Uganda is a lack of knowledge and dignity.  They could address the education system, the poverty issues, the rampet corruption problems or the overindulgent foreign aid.  These are all issues that need attentiong however they are very same issues in the church.  In a climate of false teachers, prophets and wanna be apostles Team5 stands at an impossible gap. With very few who preach the gospel of the bible and even fewer who actually live it out it's a God sized task.  It's likened to the first century church.  Engaged and engrossed in gnosticism of all types. We feel this is THE issue in Uganda.  Believe the Gospel change the world.

The strategy is simple, Plant & Connect:

  1. PLANT CHURCHES THAT PLANT CHURCHES THAT ARE GOSPEL CENTERED IN COMMUNITY AND ON MISSION WITH UGANDANS IN LEADERSHIP.
  2. CONNECT THE TIME, TALENTS, AND TREASURES OF THE AMERICAN CHURCH WITH THE MISSION OF THE UGANDAN CHURCHES USING THOSE RESOURCES FOR THE KINGDOM.

By acting in obedience to Christ, it is our prayer this connection not only brings glory to God and His Kingdom, it redeems and restores Uganda as a witness to His power and testament of hope in Him.
